Innis & Gunn

Having worked with the Edinburgh beer brand for over 4 years, there’s little creative ground we haven’t covered. Evolving this beer from local hero to premium pint while retaining a playful personality was as fun as it sounds. I’ve installed a can bar at the top of a munro, distributed beer tokens while sat inside a branded ATM, commissioned murals and brand partnerships, given Glasgow the power to decide what we did with marketing budget and booked a gig at the Barrowlands for a drinker.

Thirsty work and one hell of a round.

Remember Pints?

A love letter to pints that turned into a campaign to help pubs get back on their feet post-lockdown. Boarded up pub windows were used as ad space in return for stock on re-opening. Our ode was pasted up, and each site captured on film for socials.

The film was so well-loved it became the brand’s first TV ad. Drinkers were invited to write their own love letters to their local, and the favourites (voted for by followers) were made into pub mirrors gifted to the bars.

Project Ampersand

A collaborative series that challenged like-minded makers to create unique, limited run products inspired by the barrel aging process of Innis & Gunn’s Original beer.

Partnering with contemporary Scottish brands (Kestin Hare, instrmnt, Revo & Coco) with shared principles introduced the barrel-aged beer to a new audience who value craft and the stories behind the products they consume.
